Our Guatemala beans are grown by a cooperative that's certified Smithsonian Bird Friendly and Fair Trade Organic. "Fair Trade has encouraged us to get organized," says coop member Evelio Saucedo. "In our organization we have a voice and a vote. I'm very pleased to be a part of Fair Trade because it has improved the life of my family." We're entranced by the sweet tobacco flavors of this sustainable cup.

Fair Labor Practices Asobagri Cooperative began a literacy campaign in its member communities; over 100 members participate in reading and writing workshops. Asobagri also invests money in a health fund that assists members' families in covering medical care costs.
Habitat Preservation The coop teaches workshops in sustainable agriculture; crop diversification helps to enhance the soil's productivity; an apiculture program enhances the farm's productivity and gives the farmers an additional source of income, selling honey to local markets.
