Just 16 farms participate in the Asociación Santa Elena, an organic cooperative just a few miles north of Guatemala City. Using organic techniques like earthworm composting, they work methodically to keep improving the quality of their coffees. This year's lot is full of succulent fruit flavors from grape to apple to peach, with a honey sweetness and a refreshing finish.
