Piccolo Mondo means "small world," and it's just the blend for thinking globally and acting locally. This blend has an impressive host of certifications: Fair Trade, Smithsonian Migratory Bird Friendly, Rainforest Alliance, and Organic. And it performs incredibly well in a French press or as a sweet, mild espresso that's as smooth as can be.

Blend Profile

We’ve brought coffees from Africa, Central and South America together, all speaking their stories through a common language. All you have to do is listen and sip. Our Bolivia Organic is the base note of the blend. It provides the smooth body, nut and honeycomb that you’ll find in the cup. Two types of Guatemala FTO coffee add to the long, pleasant stretch and vanilla. And for a little zing of light acidity, we finish with Ethiopia Sidamo Organic. This well-balanced blend makes a breakfast cup you can feel good about.

About Gimme Blends

Each of our blends starts with an idea. Sometimes we're inspired by a craft beer or fine wine; sometimes we want to showcase an outstanding bean or create our own version of a traditional blend. Our roaster takes this idea into the cupping room, where we spread out a palette of single-origin beans. The blend comes together like a puzzle, piece by piece. First comes the anchoring base note; next we choose the high note and finish. Finally we tune the proportions to bring the whole mix into balance, so that no one flavor dominates. The resulting blend is greater than the sum of its parts.
