Now Roasting! February's Hot-Out-of-the-Roaster Releases

Q : What's fresher than fresh?
A : Colombia Las Mingas, Rwanda and Panama Hartmann Honey!!! Today we're releasing the newest crop from each of these origins.
NEW CROP!
If you think that the Colombia Las Mingas or the Rwanda are the same coffees that you've tried in the past ... drink again! New crop means that these coffees are different enough for you to reintroduce yourself, but familiar enough for y'all to sit together comfortably at your kitchen table. Go on and make friends ... again ... for the first time!

As recently explained in my Colombia Las Mingas photo gallery, this year's program offered an abundance of high quality coffee from more farms than the previous year. The result was a spectacular lot of coffee riddled with an orange blossom aroma, a slightly tamed vibrant acidity and one heck of a smooth finish!

Anunu_Chris_LasMingas_Blog.jpgHere is Chris weighing out a batch of Colombia Las Mingas greens. This year's lot was vacuum sealed, rather than stored in jute bags, in order to preserve that fresh from origin smell. Below is an image of the previous year's bag along side the Panama Hartmann Honey.

Anunu_Panama_Las Mingas_Bags_Blog.jpgThe Panama Hartmann Honey is our newest edition to the Gimme roast roster. We've sourced this coffee from Ninety Plus, a green coffee importer that works with premier coffee producers in an effort to yield the highest quality greens available. As their name suggests, coffee that scores above 90 (on an 100 point scale) is just about the best you can buy. We're very excited to add this exclusive selection with all of its dense syrupy sweetness and juicy body to our offering list.

Anunu_Hartmann_Honey_Label_Blog.jpgWe hope you enjoy these new coffees as much as we do.
