Ithaca Challenges Consumers to Buy Locally this Holiday Season
Gimme! Coffee, along with several other Ithaca retailers, is participating in the Local Lover Challenge, an initiative that encourages shoppers to buy locally and keep holiday dollars in the community.
I recently read that a dollar spent locally turns over an average of
seven times within the community, while a dollar spent at a big box
store leaves the community almost the instant it hits the cash drawer.
