Sharing Shapes with Stamps
Our handy friend got a package that was plastered with stamps depicting a comet screaming to earth. The shape of the comet struck me as near and dear, nearly identical to one I built into the original logo back in '00.
I would have been flirting with overkill had I been using the
exclamation point simply to underscore the urgency of such a
discourteous command as "gimme coffee". For me it was that the shape
of the "!" completed the visual impact of the logo by indicating the
intended consequent change in motion. Defying gravity and shooting
forward with aspirations, this was and is coffee for the excitable.
Moving on, and speaking of cool stamps, look at this one from Cuba. Who knows, we may see some more of these before the end of the year. Here's a keyword search for stamps containing coffee. Collecting stamps must be very interesting but I'm told I can't start a new expensive hobby until I quit the one I already have. Shucks.
