A New Traveling Exhibit on Coffee
If you haven't browsed Mimi Wysong's splendid photos from Mesa de los Santos, Colombia, here are the photo gallery and travel report. Mimi has a naturalist's eye to match her knack with a camera. She also manages our Cayuga Street espresso bar — the original Gimme location and a perennial favorite of Ithacans.
The galleries in our Coffee Travels section caught the eye of Andrew Whiteman, Senior Curator of Exhibits at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture. Andrew plans to use Mimi's photos in a major exhibit on coffee that will run in Seattle next year.
Coffee: The World in Your Cup
University of Washington
January 24 - June 7, 2009
The exhibit will travel for up to 3 years after leaving the Burke. The locations are yet to be determined, so pitch it to your local museum. I'd love to see it come east so we can take a company (field) trip. Congratulations to Mimi and thanks to Andrew.

Nice work. I especially love the photograph of the pale pink droopy flower. Beautiful composition, I think.
