Clean Roaster Makes Clean Coffee for Change We Need

Chris wears protective gloves and scrapes away at the inside of the roasting chamber. We do a heavy duty cleaning every 3 months.

And slowly, coffee roasting particles come down the the bottom of the chamber to be vacuumed out! The Sivetz is a fantastically clean roaster.

You can see all the way to the outside through the ducting. No clogged stack here. Nice and clean.

Sight glass gets removed and cleaned. This is used to make sure we know where the coffee is visually in the roasting process (color evaluation).

Clean roaster, clean coffee, clean new change of President!!! Obama is going to be enjoying some of our Ethiopia Sidamo at one of his many inaugural balls. Cheers to clean coffee, cheers to change!
