For me, November came and went, as pumpkin pie making season. In one short month I went from making my first pumpkin pie, to my seventeenth! Lucky for me, there was an absolutely spectacular coffee in my cup to keep me fueled!

Learning to make a pumpkin pie from scratch was really quite fun! Roasting my own pumpkins, making my own crust, and even caramelizing pecans on top! Mmm!
But the most fun I had was discovering that "latte art" can be made while mixing cream into the pumpkin puree! Yippy!
Okay, well, you know what I mean.. !
Like everyone else, I love a good coffee shop. However, it's home-sweet-home that I like best for really getting to know and fall in love with a coffee. I like having the quiet time and space to take a sip, sit back and really enjoy it!
Especially with a coffee as special as the Finca Trinidad! It's loud, but delicate flavors are laced with a light-sweet-fruity note that is not easily forgotten. Might I add, this coffee is a microlot, and will not be in stock for long!
Alright! Time to put that pie in the oven!
While the pie bakes, I sit back with my mug of coffee and enjoy a good book.
However, Mary Olive is a little less patient, and can't wait for the pie to be done!
