When our trailer graduated from Cornell in 2007, Manndible was awarded the cafe contract in Mann Library, on the Ag quad.
Owners Pam Gueldner and Kathleen Pasetty have deep roots in the Ithaca community, having met working with Susie of Susie's Seitan and started Harvest Deli and Juna's Cafe together.
Manndible is the advanced degree of their efforts. With the help of their awesome staff they've created a fun and comfortable atmosphere to work, study, or hang out.
The lengths they've gone to support local farms and businesses is evident everywhere. Manndible's mission is proclaimed via chalkboard in the cafe.
Local artist Alice Muhlback's design company was enlisted to create their logo and design their menu. She also created some whimsical murals and wall pieces that enliven the atmosphere.
Though located on Cornell's campus, Manndible is well worth a visit from the locals. If you live in Ithaca or the surrounding area, stop in. And tell 'em we sent you!
