If you are a regular at either of our downtown Ithaca locations you may have noticed an abundance of new faces recently. They are all baristas in training.

Have you heard we are opening a new cafe in Ithaca? Any day now we will have a third Ithaca location on Green Street right next to the library. We've got a great new crew ready for the doors to open.
Its been a busy month of training the new staff to the Gimme level of awesome. They've come a long way, but most of them are just starting their coffee careers. Thanks for letting them practice and learn with you!
Ant will be moving from state street to manage Green. Leaving behind his beloved Synesso.
Ant brings with him Gimme excellence and experience. He is a great team leader.
Here's Phil learning to tell when a shot is fully extracted by its color and flow rate. He's got a good handle on things and was pulling sweet juicy shots.
Jenny's pulling shots to taste. A trained palate is one of the first steps to being a great barista.
This is Jenny's first attempt at a rosetta. She'd been steaming milk for a total of two hours when this picture was taken. This is an impressive first pour.
Alex just moved to Ithaca from Colorado where she had a little cafe experience. She's very eager to learn the Gimme way of doing things.
Heather has been a Gimme regular for a while. We are stoked to have her on the other side of the counter now. Look for great things from this crew. Our new cafe is going to be stellar!
