The Evans Family Farmhouse Creamery
By Amina Omari | Nov 1, 2007
Evans' Farmhouse Creamery in Norwich, NY, supplies us with local organic milk.
It's a traditional family farm, with nice shiny cans.
It's really quite painterly
“Moooooorganic.” We're raised in the pasture, not in a cage. We're free of rBGH, antibiotics, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, you name it.
We're wanderin' up yonder way. You coming or what? We don't got all day.Actually, we do have pretty much all day.
Horses.
Ducks.
And the farmers are people with names. Dave and Sue live and work on the farm.

I just wanted to thank you for continuing to farm the land and to sell some of the finest pasteurized milk I have ever had. Since I am allergic to homogenized milk I have come to rely on having your milk and your yogurt at all times, and whenever I cannot purchase them, I often have to wait until I can find them in any organic store. Unfortunately my local store has gone out of business, so I now am relying on finding your products farther away. Once again Thank you for your milk and Yogurt.

Once a year I visit Cooperstown where some years ago I discovered your divinely delicious lemon yoghurt in a supermarket. I look for this yoghurt every year in Cooperstown. This year the supermarket changed names and personnel, and no one could tell me where to find your yoghurt. I tried another supermarket in Cooperstown--still no go. Finally I saw an advertisement for a natural foods store, to which I traveled. Happily in the refrigerator case your yoghurts were available (albeit in small quantities). The owner of the store told me I was lucky, because his wholesale source is not always able to get the yoghurt. Praise the Lord and pass the Evans Farm Creamery yoghurt.
