The exceptional India Elk Hill coffee is back and better than ever.
Outstanding Harvest
This AA harvest comes to us from the hills of southern India, where farmers grow more than 2 million tons of coffee each year. Elk Hill is considered a gem among Indian coffee estates, using sustainable practices to produce complex, rewarding brews. We've long been impressed with India Elk Hill, but this year's harvest is outstanding. It's sweet and mellow, with notes of cherry cream, antique wood, molasses, and spice. Taste it yourself and find out.
Single-Origin at Home
At Gimme! Coffee, we use the versatile India Elk Hill for espresso blends as well as single-origin brewing. Its sweetness, creamy body, and notes of toasted spice also make it perfect for brewing at home. You can buy bags online and have them shipped right to you. As always, we recommend grinding fresh and brewing in a French Press to fully experience the smooth body and spicy fragrance of this exceptional coffee.
Sustainable, Forest-Grown
Elk Hill's coffee is more than just shade-grown. Farmers plant the coffee under a thick canopy of rosewood, white cedar, and silver oak trees, leaving the natural forest cover undisturbed. This "forest-grown" coffee:
- Preserves biodiversity and animal habitats
- Supports an impressive variety of birds
- Provides a habitat for the wild elephants who frequently pass through the farm
- Sustains natural forest growth
Elk Hill Estate is also an Utz Certified coffee producer which means they practice sustainable agriculture and meet high standards for labor rights and environmental care.
